Many third party paper companies will either have ICC profiles for the papers that they manufacture. For the Printer Profile, select the paper profile for the paper that you are printing on.
In the Color Handling section, select Photoshop Manages Colors. To check the color space, make sure the image is open and click on Edit and then Color Settings.Īfter your image has been resized and you are ready to print, click File and Print.ĭepending on the image, you may need to check the box for Scale to Fit Media so the image is not stretched or compressed. If the image is in sRGB there is no need to setup printing with ICC profiles. If you want to print using ICC profiles, check the color space of the image first to make sure that it is in Adobe RGB. Sometimes, the width or height might be slightly larger or smaller after you enter their values into their respective fields.
If you wish to manually enter the width and height into their respective fields, make sure the Constrain Proportions option is enabled. Once in the Image Size window, you can manually enter the paper width and height in inches into the appropriate fields, or you can select a preset in the Fit To: drop down menu. This can be done by clicking on the Image menu and selecting Image Size. When printing using Photoshop, make sure that the image size is the same as the paper that you are printing on.
